I hate worrying about money and bills and bills and money!
Today I received a gas bill...it was $138.84 - WTF - IT'S SUMMER...NO HEATING - and lets face it...I don't cook that much! So I called the gas company, spoke to a very nice lady by the name of Mrs Whitehead...she thinks they may have over-read my meter (ya think Mrs Whitehead). She asks me to run outside to read the meter. Hmmm sorry Mrs Whitehead, but I'm at work - let me conference in my husband, and I'll make him check the meter. So I conference in Max - Max run out to the meter. Max starts rambling off 4 million 9 hundred and blah blah...ah..number for number Max. "Oh dear" says Mrs Whitehead...yes they have over-read your meter (in other words...noone actually come out to read the meter - they just did a guesstimate). You only owe $23.55 - yes Mrs Whitehead, they did over-read the meter.
So people check your bills...sometimes they only guess what your meter is..especially if it's too hot to wonder around peoples yards check meters.
So, my point...YES worry about money...because your are more than likely being overcharged by people making guesstimates!!

Ok, we all know that I have the worse hair in the world....it never really got it's zing back after my first born over 18 years ago - and it progressively got worse!! The fact that dying it doesn't make it any better!! I am losing my hair...it is thinning increasingly every day - I have to keep blonde or lighter highlights in it, because if I go to my natural color...it just makes it look thinner!! Well, recently I tried to go back to my natural color...with some highlights just in the front - well my hair on the top and at the back broke - YES BROKE! I have some spots on my ever increasingly balding head that are about 3 inches long!! And no, they are not meant to be like that!. I have one little spot on my bangs that is greying and the air is soooo coarse it curls up...won't straighten...ugh!
Today I decided to part it on the other side...now I am so fickin' annoyed with it in my face - it is resembling a extra bad Kate Goslen!!! And we all know what a ridiculous hair cut that is!!
What am I to do....so, I'm going to Macy's after work to buy a new park of Steve Maddens - or Jessica Simpsons - yes that will fix it...fix me anyway!
Is it because they think that particular people need a "boost" of confidence....is it because they are frightened of saying what they really think....is it because they just have absolutely nothing to say...so they just suck up?

This is infuriating to me...only because cheating on your wife/husband is one of the most horrible things you can do to a person you supposedly love and are in a committed relationship with. Cheating is despicable!....and if someone gets on here and says "because their wife/husband doesn't understand them" - don't bother to answer.
If you are married and/or in a committed relationship....and you feel the need to "wonder" - why don't you just leave or get a divorce...why put the other person through shame and embarrassment - ssheesh, you selfish gremlins!
I know way to many people that have fallen for these "scumbags" - it's never good, someone always gets hurt - these people are usually full of false promises to both their partner and the person they are seeing "on the side".
I knew a girl way back in the day, that dated a guy for 7 years....went vacationing, partying, dinners - eventually got engaged...oh one snag!! After 7 years, and engagement party - she finds out that he is still MARRIED....still LIVING with his wife....still having a SEXUAL relationship with his wife, and had no intentions of divorcing her. Apparently his wife was from another culture and didn't venture out, or ask qustions. Needless to say, my friend was horribly upset....had to cancel wedding plans and dropped the SOB like a hot potato!
Dating websites are great...but BACKGROUD CHECK people!
I love the new Liberty Mutual commercial....it's people doing little things for strangers, without a thought, without wanting to be thanked. For example...mom pushing a stroller, kid throws out its toy...people are just stepping over the toy until a stranger picks up the toy and puts it in the stroller...the mom says thanks and smiles. Next the mom is in a coffe shop and she is walking out, and man sitting by the door is reading his paper just about to knock his coffee off the table, the mom moves his coffee cup for him. Coffee man is walking...anyway you get me drift. It's kinda like pay it forward (oh and yes I cried like a baby watching that movie). The other day I was at lunch with a friend...and we were getting up from our table and an older gentlement stood up and pulled out my friends chair....that was nice.
My Challenge today should you accept it, do something nice for someone...simple without wanting to be thanked - and see what happens.
Peace out beotches!
